Nehemiah’s Way has a long history of serving the North Wales area, beginning with its founding in 1993 by the members of Saint Peter’s In 2004, Nehemiah's Way merged with Laurel House, Montgomery County's comprehensive domestic violence program. This merger resulted in an increased level of services for local victims of domestic violence. Nehemiah’s Way, as a program of Laurel House, continues to provide transitional housing, but its residents are now able to access a full range of ancillary services, such as counseling, support groups, and legal advocacy through Laurel House. Laurel House also operates a satellite office in North Wales to provide additional support to victims of domestic violence in the North Penn area. For more information or to access services in the North Penn area, please contact the Laurel House hotline at (800) 642-3150.
