Each year over 300 women and children seek safe haven through our emergency shelter. Additionally, we house 12 families in our transitional housing units that are scattered throughout the County. All of these families come to us scared and in crisis. Additionally, most of them come to us with nothing but the clothes that they are wearing. It is because of the generosity of our donors that we are able to provide most of their basic needs to them, along with a safe, warm place to stay.

In addition the the women and children in our shelter and transitional housing programs, we see hundreds of abuse victims  through our community counseling and DART programs. Although not in need of shelter, these victims also are in need of some of our most basic items.

Each month our staff completes an inventory of our current donations to ensure that we ask from our supporters only what we need. Below you will find a listing of items that we are in running extremely low on currently. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
